Handling of personal data

Personal data are according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) any information relating to identified or identifiable natural persons. These include e.g. your name, your address, your telephone number, your date of birth and your IP address.

Below we would like to inform you about our use of any personal data which you provide to us while using this website.

Use of contact and application forms

Any personal data (hereinafter referred to as “data”) which you enter while using our website will be used by us only for the purpose for which you have disclosed these data.

  • Information in the contact form will be used exclusively to process and answer your request.
  • Data transmitted during a job application will be stored electronically only for administering the application and selecting a candidate. In case that the application documents do not lead to an employment contract with the applicant, they, as well as any other selection documents, will be deleted at the latest six months after the end of the selection process, unless the applicant agrees to their continued storage. 

On no account will the collected data be sold or transmitted to third parties for whatever reason. To submit requests via the contact form, you need to explicitly agree to this privacy statement.

Accessing the website

When you access our website, the host will automatically collect and store information in your server log files transmitted to us by your browser, namely

  • browser type/version
  • operating system used
  • referring URL (previously visited website)
  • hostname of the accessing computer (IP address)
  • time of server inquiry

 These data cannot be assigned to specific people by NeuroScios GmbH. The data will not be amalgamated with other data sources and will be deleted at the end of your session.

Use of cookies

On the website, cookies are used. They are necessary to make our services more user-friendly, more efficient and safer. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called session cookies, meaning that they will be automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain any viruses.

Web analysis – Google Analytics

We do not use Google Products on this website, not any other analytics service.

Newsletter

If you register for our free newsletter, the data requested from you for this purpose, i.e. your email address and, optionally, your name and address, will be sent to us. We also store the IP address of your computer and the date and time of your registration. During the registration process, we will obtain your consent to receive this newsletter and the type of content it will offer, with reference made to this privacy policy. The data collected will be used exclusively to send the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.
